Last year, Indonesian gamers heard alot about the rumor of Dragon Nest's coming to Indonesia, published by PT. Kreon. There was not much clue about it until last February 10, 2012, when PT. Kreon signed agreement with the developer of Dragon Nest, Eyedentity.
This could be a milestone for Indonesian online game industry as it will open the gate to foreign games. The latest news of Dragon Nest Indonesia shows that the waiting is almost over and the game will begin the first closed beta in June 2012. PT. Kreon just announced it at the official website (gemscool).

How to get comet dusts in dragon nest
Comet dusts, which currently sell at around 60-65g / 100 pcs (Note that the price depends on your server!), are obtained via extraction or disassembling. Alternatively, comet dusts are also dropped in nests (Along with sun sparks).
Here's an overview: you disassemble an upgraded equipment (preferably weapons) through the disassembler located outside every town. Once you click disassemble, comet dusts will come out of the disassembler in exchange for your equip. As simple as that.
Comet Tail and Sun Flame
Comet tails are basically condensed forms of comet dusts, and are exchangeable at a rate of 1 Comet Tail: 10 000 Comet Dusts. Likewise, 1 Sun Flame is equivalent to 10 000 Sun Sparks.
To get comet tails, you simply need to extract equipments +13 and above. Sun Flames are rumored to appear around +13 and above for high level epic grade weapons.

What are comet dusts for?
Comet dusts are used to exchange for spiral and vortex pouches, which contain corresponding spiral and vortex codes. Spiral and Vortex codes are special codes which provide an instant equipment upgrade.
The only difference between a spiral and a vortex code is that the spiral code has a prerequisite of 1 level lower than the upgrade level of the code. Meaning, to be able to use a +9 40 Epic Grade Spiral Code (Main Weapon), you need a Level 40 primary weapon that is upgraded to +8. Vortex codes on the other hand do not need this prerequisite.
Take note that what code you get is random depending on the grade of the pouch. For example, a high grade vortex pouch contains a random +11-+14 vortex code.

How many comet dusts do you get per extraction?
The answer to this question is that it varies. The amount of comet dusts and sun sparks dropped per extraction depends on the upgrade level, equipment grade (rare, epic), and equipment level. Logically, the higher each of these factors are, the better are your rewards. But wait, this doesn't mean that the better your equipment the more profitable it would be.
The amount of comet dusts and sun sparks obtained per extraction are summarized as follows. Take note that at each extraction, there's a chance that 1.) You get an additional 1-3 pcs of comet dusts 2.) You get a random spiral or vortex code (higher or same level) 3.) You fail, for lower level equipments.
The amount are as follows: (I do not claim ownership over the work below! These are the combined efforts from the people of Dragon Nest Source.)

Shortly after the launch of Diablo III, we’ll be adding a new feature to our official site. Profiles will let you review all of your character information at a glance, share it with others, and check out the accomplishments of the other heroes out there.
You’ll be able to look at your heroes (or your friends’ heroes) from any page on the Diablo III site through our personalized menu. If you’re curious about the exploits of your fellow forum posters, it’ll be a simple matter to click over to their profiles and feel envious of their gear or how long they’ve managed to keep their Hardcore characters alive.
Our first profiles release will include these two elements:
A career tab that displays all of your heroes, how far you’ve progressed in the Diablo III campaign, how many foes you’ve slain, the names and playtimes of your fallen Hardcore heroes, and more.
A heroes tab that shows off your equipment (including dyes, socketed gems, all equipment bonuses, etc.), your attributes and skills, the skills and equipment of your Followers, and more.

Today we are going to take an object/text, change it from 2D to 3D and give it some realistic effects. We are going to be using Illustrator to create the object, then bring it into Photoshop to add highlights and shadows.
STEP 1
So lets open up Illustrator and create a 5â€x5†document. Create some text or a logo. Now you want to make sure you pick a color other than black or white or grays, so that we can pick up some of the shadows on the object.
STEP 2
Alright, now we want to turn our object 3-D, so go to Effect>3-D>Extrude & Bevel. My settings are shown below, but depending on what you are using for an object it may be different. What we are trying to achieve here is an interesting angle. Play around with the settings until you get something you like. Make sure you change around the lighting to get the most amount of contrast to make it easier later on.
STEP 3
That’s all we are going to do in Illustrator, so now copy your image (apple+c) and paste it into a 1680x1050px Photoshop document. Stretch it out to fill the space. Since it is a vector image we can stretch it out when it is first pasted into Photoshop and it will not get distorted. After you press the check box it gets converted to a raster image and will distort, so make sure you get a size you like. You can always make it smaller, just not bigger.
STEP 4
Now we are going to setup a background. So first change the layer name to 3-D text and the hiding it by clicking on the eye on the left side of the layers.
STEP 5
Lets grab this wooden texture here and bring it into our document. Resize it so it fits the size of the document.
STEP 6
We are going to give the wood some darker color, so we are going to go in and grab a dark brown color. Now go to the elliptical marquee tool, set your feather to 100px and make a circle about the size, vertically of the document.
STEP 7
Now press apple + shift + I to select the inverse and fill the space with the brown with option + delete. Change the layer’s blend mode to overlay.
STEP 8
Make a circle, like with the brown, but this time we are going to pick an yellow/orange color and make a circle in the bottom right corner. Fill the circle with the yellow and change the blend mode to overlay.
STEP 9
Take that yellow layer and stretch it out so it fills the area without the brown we filled earlier. Hold down option + shift to keep the yellow in the bottom right.
STEP 10
So at this point our image is starting to have a light source from the bottom right. Lets make it brighter in that corner to really make it look like the thats the source of the light. Lets make a new layer above our yellow one and create a radial gradient from the bottom right corner. Change the blending mode to overlay. Now we need to copy the layer a couple times to make it brighter. So do apple+j twice.
STEP ``
Now it’s time to bring in our logo. Make sure you have your 3-D text clicked, then use your magic wand to click on the face of the type. Make sure the tolerance of the magic wand is at 12. Now press apple + j. This will give you a new layer with the face of the type on it.
STEP 12
Repeat step 11 except, use the magic want to select the sides of the text.
STEP 13
Now we are going to add some highlights and shadows to the face of the text. Lets create a new layer, apple + click on the text face layer to load it. Click on your gradient and select a yellow color, similar to the one we used on the bottom right corner. Click and drag your gradient from the bottom right corner of the text to the top left corner of the text. Change the blend mode to overlay.
STEP 14
With the type face still highlighted, create a new layer and make a smaller gradient using white. Change the blend mode to overlay.
STEP 15
Grab a dark brownish-red color and drag a small gradient from the opposite corner and change the blend mode to multiply.
STEP 16
Now click on the side text layer and press apple + m to pull up the curves window. Set it to something like below, the sides are going to be dark because there isn’t really any light hitting them.
STEP 17
Now we need to figure out what the path of the light is so we can make some shadows. We do this by creating two lines both starting at the bottom right corner, out light source, and touching the corner of the widest spot, ours being the bottom corner on the D and the top corner on the d, like so.

STEP 18
Now that we know roughly were the shadow is going to start, we can start buidling it. Take your polygonal tool and cut out a shape like below, and fill it black. Make sure the shape doesn’t go to the right of the text. Now drag that layer so it is below the text.
STEP 19
Now we are going to modify the shape we just made, so first off I want to create a layer mask. I do this by clicking on the square with a circle inside of it, on the layers pallette.
STEP 20
Go in and start painting around with the black brush until you get something more natural looking, like below.
STEP 21
We can get rid of the two lines we made, because we arent’ going to need them any more. We need to give the text some texture, because right now it doesn’t look very real. Over at Lost and Taken the have just added these film textures that will work perfect for us, grab one of these and bring it into your document. Size the texture so it has somewhat of a similar angle to your text. Do an apple + click to load your text face, apple + i to get the inverse of the text face, and delete.
STEP 22
Finally I’m going to add a bevel to the text face layer to give it more of an edge like below.
Thats it. Keep playing around with it, there are always more details you can do to it. This is what I got.

We all know that with Adobe’s new release schedule a major upgrade to Adobe After Effects CS6 is in the works and will be released at some point in 2012, most likely around NAB. You may or may not like Adobe’s new upgrade policy(some definitely don’t like it). Regardless, we all want to know what Adobe has in store for the next version of After Effects. A good hint went up over the weekend on Adobe’s After Effects region of interest blog in a post called “Top After Effects feature requests for the past year or so.”
Let’s read the tea leaves and see if we can take a hint. We’re almost to the end of 2011 when After Effects got a minor upgrade to 5.5. We know 2012 will see a bigger upgrade for After Effects and, as the year is winding down, we get an official Adobe blog post that lists 16 ”of the most common feature requests that we’ve gotten over the past year.” I don’t think anyone can make any future buying decision on a blog post (and an upgrade that addressed all 16 of these requests would be beyond huge) but it seems likely that this is more than a subtle hint at what we might expect out of AE CS6. Below is a bullet list of the features
What's New in After Effects CS6 :
• import of AAF files
• keyboard shortcut editor [hopefully better than the one in Premiere Pro]

Hope It Help !!
In this tutorial I will show you how to turn an overcast day into a stunningly dramatic scene with sunlight breaking through the clouds. This technique can be used for other applications as well. I originally came up with it when I needed to create shafts of light coming through a canopy of trees. The best part of this technique is that the beams are created from the actual imagery so they look very realistic. Lets get started…^^
Here’s the photo we’re working with (Original)
Step One:
Duplicate the Background photo layer by dragging it to the New Layer Icon at the bottom of the layers palette. Name it ‘Light Beam Base’.
With that layer selected hit CMD + M (or CTRL+M on PC) to apply a curve to it. Apply a harsh curve to it so that we have maximum contrast in the clouds with small areas that go completely white. I am focusing on the area on the top third of the frame slightly to the left. These white areas are going to be where our beams of light come out of the clouds.
Now apply a 2 pixel gaussian blur to that layer ( Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur ).
Step two :
Turn off the Light Beam Base layer and select the Background layer. Select the Polygonal Lasso tool (L). Set the Feather to 50 in the Properties bar at the top of the screen.
Draw a loose selection around the area of the sky where the beams will come from by clicking various points. Here is the selection I made as viewed in Quick Mask mode:
Make a new Curves Adjustment Layer just above he Background layer. Our selection is automatically applied as a layer mask. Apply a similar curve to the one we did before, but this time we want to limit it so the shadow areas are not affected. Name the layer ‘Light Source’.

Step three:
Turn on and select the Light Beam Base layer. In the toolbar select the Single Row Marquee tool. Zoom in on one of the white areas of the clouds and click once in the middle of it. This selects a single row of pixels across the image.
Zoom out so you can see the whole image. Select the regular Marquee tool. While holding alt/option drag from the left of the image right up to the left side of the white area to deselect those pixels. Do the same on the right side. You shoud end up with a selection of a single row of pixels just across the white area like so:
With the ‘Light Beam Base’ layer selected hit CMD + J. This throws your selected pixels on a new layer. Name that layer ‘Beam 1′.

Step Four:
Turn off the ‘Light Beam Base’ layer. Select the ‘Beam 1′ layer. Hit CMD+T to Free Transform the layer. Grab the bottom center handle and stretch is all the way down to about where the boat sits. Now while holding CMD drag the same handle to the right so it sits just under the boat. Now while holding CMD+SHIFTdrag the bottom left and right handles outward until you get a shape that you like.
Note that the Free Transform preview might look a little whacked because Photoshop is dealing with a single row of pixels. This technique is called pixel stretching. When you apply the transform it will look right.

Step Five:
Set the ‘Beam 1′ layer’s blending mode to Screen on the layer palette.
Hit CMD+M to apply a curve to the layer. Darken the layer way down until the beams of light start to show up.
Add a layer mask by clicking on the Add Layer Mask button at the bottom of the layer palette. Select the mask by clicking on it in the layer palette then hit CMD+M to apply a curve to it. Bring the highlight point down to 50%. Hit OK.
Select the Polygonal Lasso tool (L) and set the Feather to 15 this time. Select the center of the beam all the way through. Here is what my selection looked like as a quickmask.
Select the ‘Beam 1′ mask and hit CMD+M to apply a curve. This time bring the shadow point up to 50%. This will make the center of the beam brighter than the edges.

Step Six
With the mask still selected, hit G for the Gradient tool. Click on the gradient preview in the top left of the screen and set it to the black to white gradient if it isnt already set. Set the gradient mode to Multiply on the Properties Bar.
Drag from the top of the beam to the bottom. Before you click anything else go to Edit > Fade Gradient. Fade it down to about 50%. This creates a falloff on the beam but we use the Fade function so it doesn’t completely disappear at the bottom.
Step Seven:
Select the Background layer. Select the Eliptical Marquee tool. Click and drag directly on the boat, while holding down the mouse button hold ALT and make a narrow ellipse at the base of the beam.
Hit Q to enter Quick Mask mode. Go Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur and use 5 as the radius. Go Filter > Blur > Motion Blur and make the angle 0 and the distance 150. Hit Q to exit Quick Mask.
Make a curves adjustment layer just above the Background layer. Lighten up the water a bit until it looks like the beam is hitting the water.

Step Eight:
I just want to add a little contrast to the image as a whole. To do that, put a curve at the top of the layers palette and just add some contrast.
Repeat steps 3 through 7 as many times as you would like using other white spots in the clouds but be sure to mind the angles at which the beams come down. They should look like they all come from the same light source.
